The Lincoln MKC luxury crossover is a new brand from Lincoln Company that came this 2014 year for the first time. The new model, 2016 Lincoln MKC, could come with just some small technologies updates in interior and drivetrain. The Lincoln MKC 2016 will probably have new turbocharged 2.0l engine with direct injection that will be paired with new automatic transmission that will be “borrowed” from Ford.

Interior of the Lincoln MKC 2016 will be luxurious as we expect from Lincoln cars. It will feature leather upholstery, wooden details, 8-way powered front seats and heated seats for all 5 passengers. When we speak about interior technologies there are MyLincoln infotainment system with 8” touchscreen with integrated Bluetooth, satellite navigation, audio system with 9 speakers, keyless entry with push-start engine and dual-zone automatic climate control. It will come with plenty safety advanced technologies like Collision warning with brake support, park-out assist technology, a Lane-Keeping System and Blind spot warning system.
Lincoln MKC 2016 specs
The 2016 Lincoln MKC will be powered by two engines from EcoBoost family. That means that under the hood will be 2.0- and 2.3-liter engines. The 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine comes with turbocharger and direct injection and it can deliver around 240 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. Second engine is 2.3-liter EcoBoost that comes with three advanced technology features – direct injection, turbocharger and twin independent variable cam timing (Ti-VCT) system. This engine offers the most power per cylinder in its class – 285 horsepower and 305 lb-ft of torque. Current MKC is equipped with 6-speed automatic transmission but the Lincoln MKC 2016 engines could be paired with brand new 9-speed automatic transmission that Ford develops together with GM. Standard for all Lincoln luxury crossover vehicles will be front-wheel-drive system while buyers will bee able to choose all-wheel-drive system.
2016 Lincoln MKC release date and price
The 2016 Lincoln MKC release date is going to be set probably for start of 2016. Because the new Lincoln MKC 2016 will come with just small changes price of this Lincoln luxury crossover should be in range of current model – from $34,000 for base model and over $48,000 for top fully loaded Reserve trim level.
