2015 Lincoln MKZ review
The 2015 Lincoln MKZ is all about luxury from outside and inside. At the first look you could tell that it is based on the Ford Fusion. It is more stylish and more luxurious that Fusion. The front grille is redesigned and it is lowered and according to many opinions better looking. Now it features LED head- and taillights, Easy Fuel capless fuel filler, optional the retractable panoramic roof with 5.2-square-foot glass panel, chrome door handles that inserts, etc. There are some new colors available like: Luxe Metalicious, Magnetic Metallic, Bronze Fire and Guard Metallic.
Unlike the exterior, interior of the new Lincoln MKZ 2015 needs improvement. If it wants to compete to rivals there must be more luxurious materials, textures and overall design. The MyLincoln Touch system is hard to use, even when you need to do simple tasks. It has a lack of rear leg- and headroom despite its dimensions. Beside MyLincoln Touch infotainment system it also features Licocln Drive Control, keyless entry and engine start, unique push-button shift, Lincoln-exlusive THX audio system with 14 channels and speakers, rearview camera, cruise control, illuminated entry, etc.
2015 Lincoln MKZ specs
The new 2015 Lincoln MKZ has two engine options. Base engine is 4-cylinder 2.0-liter EcoBoost that produce 240 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 270 lb-ft of torque at 3,000 rpm. This engine is more efficient than other stronger one engine. It has EPA estimated fuel efficiency rated at 26 mpg combined (22/33 city/hwy) when the power is transferred on the front wheels. In case of all-wheel-drive system fuel consumption is slightly worst and it is rated at 25 mpg combined (18/26 city/hwy).
Second, stronger, engine is 3.7-liter V-6 engine with Ti-VCT technology. It delivers 300 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 277 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm. It has EPA-estimated fuel economy rated at 22 mpg combined (18/27 city/hwy) for FWD and 21 mpg combined (18/26 city/hwy) for AWD.
Both engines have only one transmission that they can be mated to. It is 6-speed SelectShift automatic transmission with paddle activation. Unlike the traditional mechanical transmission with shift lever the 2015 Lincoln MKZ has a five-button interface that open center console for additional space and comfort.

The 2015 Lincoln MKZ pricing starts at $36,085 for the base model with 2.0-liter engine and FWD and with destination and delivery charges. The cost of the new MKZ with Reserve equipment is priced at $43,575 and it can goes much more depending on chosen available options.
